The Ranish Group at the Institute for Systems Biology is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow interested in developing and applying proteomic technologies to study the architecture and function of macromolecular complexes involved in gene regulation. The lab currently focuses on complexes involved in RNA polymerase II transcription initiation and complexes involved in the regulation of lipid transporter expression in macrophages.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in in an appropriate field, such as molecular/cellular biology or biochemistry. Special consideration will be given to candidates with a background in gene regulation.
Applicants must work well in a collaborative environment and possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail, time management skills and a high level of initiative and organization are also required.
